OK, smiller , the first thing you have to do is update to10.2.8 : SuperDuper! won't run properly otherwise.
Then, don't worry about the Sandbox: you don't have to use it. You can schedule the backup using the instructions in Section 12 of the User's Guide. Hopefully that'll get you started...
