Snow Leopard Upgrade
Hi All,
Just wondering what the best way to upgrade to snow leopard would be? I have a clone of my current system and want to know if I can do a fresh install of Snow Leopard then restore from my clone prior to the OS update with out downgrading the OS files. My main concern is keeping all my application. If anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated. |

The best way is to just upgrade to Snow Leopard. Of course, make a full backup (and test it) before you do so...

I don't think there's any real 'proof' that 'maximum compatibility' is going to be obtained through a clean install. You can *always* clean install later, should you find your upgrade inadequate.
