First - will superduper work on a xserver ?


Second - will it backup 1: software raid - 2: Hardware raid ?

First, yes. Works fine on a server, but be aware -- as with any backup program that's backing up a live server -- you should take steps to checkpoint open databases, etc. We provide before/after backup shell script call-outs to assist you in this.

We can back up both software and hardware RAIDs (as what they represent -- a single volume of files).
