scheduled copies sometimes don't
I've seen this a few times, and it has me wondering. I have daily backup copies scheduled, and occasionally those backups just don't happen. In the "Scheduled Copies" pane it says, yep, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 1am Smart Update is selected ....". But the last copy listed is a week ago. Duh? So it knows what it is supposed to do, but just hasn't done it.
When I see this, I just reschedule everything, and it works fine ... until it doesn't (which is rare). I should really get a log copy at the assigned backup time, but I haven't done that yet. Thoughts? Last edited by Dan Lester; 02-25-2017 at 04:45 PM. |

Do you have a wake event set for one minute before the scheduled copy time?

Should never be going to sleep. I have it set so the screen goes dark, but it doesn't sleep. Again, this backup almost always works -- 99.9% of the time.
This last week there was a power dropout, and an automatic reboot (within a few seconds), though. |

Set a wake event for a minute before the scheduled copy anyway, Dan. You might be surprised.
