SD on Airport Extreme?
I was just bummed to find out that Time Machine Backups on an AE are "unreliable."
Can I use SuperDuper? If so, will the disk be bootable? (It is fine if I have to plug the physical drive into the computer for bootiing.) |

You cannot create a directly bootable drive over a network, no. It would have to be to an image, and would have to be restored before you could boot to it.
Note, too, that backups over a network are, generally, much slower and less reliable than those made to local drives.
