Error 69 ?
I am presented with the following message after each run of Superduper.
Screen Shot 2016-10-22 at 10.50.20 AM.png When opening the log everything looks Ok, but the date is off by two days. |

Your /tmp folder looks to be missing, or not writable.

tmp folder
Where would I locate this file/folder?
Is it a Super Duper specific file? If it is missing can I create a new one? Last edited by shamrox; 10-22-2016 at 12:19 PM. Reason: omitted some comments |

This is a system folder - you can find it at the top of the drive, although it's likely hidden. You can try to access it with Go To Folder in the Go menu - /tmp is the path.
It is not SuperDuper specific. It's a critical system folder.

Using go to I get a greyed out folder that has a shortcut arrow on it.
Do you have any suggestions as to what I should be doing? |

But that link doesn't actually go anywhere? It should actually show contents.
The "easiest" way to fix this would probably be to reinstall the OS (since I don't know what else might be wrong if this is messed up). But you could also try to manually fix it. I think it'd be best to move to email to guide you through this, since I don't want others to try this "on their own" after a search. Drop me an email to support and we'll see what we can do.
