Backup both Mac and PC
I plan to backup data from my Mac and PC onto an external drive - this will be an HFS+ formatted drive. I am considering buying SuperDuper to do the Mac backup (and use MacDrive to do the same from my PC). I have a few questions I need to understand before making a purchase:
1. Will SuperDuper do Mac backups without impacting my PC files backed up on the external drive? 2. Do I need to partition the drive and let SuperDuper do the backup on one of the partitions or can I do both backups on a single partition? What is the preferred option? |

The answer to both is the best thing to do is partition the drive. That'll keep the Mac files isolated from the PC files.
Hope that helps, Ketan.
